"Playing peaceful tones of green welcomes a sense of renewal."

This short piece can be played on a pedal or lever harp and was written to simulate a gentle spring rainfall. Imagine the fresh smell
of spring rain as it quenches the thirsty earth. Phrasing marks help represent the balance between rain falling down on the earth (descending scale motions) and the new greens sprouting and reaching up (ascending phrases.)

Both players must connect with the harmonic balance. This piece is designed for two harps to play as one sound; sometimes in harmony and sometimes as a friendly exchange, but always making one cohesive sound like the hum of the wind.
The harp is mesmerizing in a variety of ways. The wind vibrates. The harp vibrates. When the wind blows through the harp the strings vibrate. This piece captures the sound of the wind in the grass. Picture the wind blowing through the grass and feel the hum of the wind through the harp.
